I’m not sure I’ve ever purchased fresh Mozzarella before, but I know I’ve had it at restaurants and liked it, so I figured it was time to try it at home, especially since Wayne got me some fancy balsamic vinegar for Christmas. This salad would probably taste better with “fresh from the garden” tomatoes, but it was still delicious.



Tomato and Mozzarella Salad

Layer sliced tomatoes and Mozzarella. Drizzle with balsamic vinegar and olive oil. Salt and pepper to taste. Serve.

I discovered that it’s not as easy to slice as I expected, and so one time I diced everything (see here). That was delicious as well.
