I felt like having pasta tonight, because there are some zucchini in the fridge that need to be eaten, and zucchini and pasta just go together. There’s also an opened package of scallops in the freezer and some egg yolks that need to be used. Plug those ingredients into Google, and this is what you get – Bacon Scallops and Hollandaise. Google wasn’t listening properly, because this recipe doesn’t call for pasta; however, I’m going to serve it over some noodles anyway. And it gets bonus points for using the last half of a lemon as well. Let’s see how it turns out!
Make some Hollandaise Sauce. Cook some pasta. Sauté some scallops or shrimp. Toss it all with some crumbled bacon and chopped tomatoes. Serve.
For the record, it turned out deliciously.
