Here’s the latest recipe from our Bake Sale Cookbook. Wayne sent a picture of the finished result to his grandchildren. That wasn’t very nice of him, was it? Now they all want to visit him and get a piece of his giant cookie! We’d love to have them visit, but that’s not very practical right due to both distance and the pandemic. However, it is a pretty easy recipe, so they can make one of their own if their parents let them. Just remember it really isn’t a cookie at all, but a giant piece of candy!

The cast of chacters, including an ingredient I’ve never purchased before – refrigerated sugar cookie dough – and two new pizza pans – because the ones we have were not 12″ in diameter!

Press the dough into the pan, bake, top with the fudge topping, add the candy, bake one more time. We discovered that cutting with a knife didn’t work very well, but pushing straight down with our little metal spatula did the job.

This is extremely sweet and rich. Have a glass of milk handy!

Candy Cookie Pizza

Servings: 24 servings


  • 1 tube sugar cookie dough (16 ounces)
  • 1 can sweetened condensed milk (14 ounces)
  • 2 cups chocolate chips
  • 2 cups M&M candies
  • 2 cups mini marshmallows
  • 1/2 cup peanuts


  • Press half of the cookie dough into each of two 12-inch pizza pans. Bake at 375 degrees for about 8 minutes, until slightly golden.
  • In the meantime, combine the milk and chocolate chips in a saucepan over low heat. Stir until melted and combined. Then spread over the giant cookies - half on each.
  • Top evenly with M&M candies, marshmallows and peanuts.
  • Bake for an additional 3-4 minutes, until marshmallows are puffed. Cool before slicing and serving.

You can find a similar recipe here, but that one puts all the ingredients in one cookie; we made two out of ours, although only making half the recipe would have been a wiser choice. I’m also sure you could make this using your homemade sugar cookie dough and even homemade sweetened condensed milk. That would give you more control over how much to make!
