Time to try a new recipe! Here’s the one I followed. I liked it, but next time I’ll marinate the tuna a bit beforehand instead of grilling it dry. I also felt the sauce was a bit too strong and salty. So, here’s what to try next time.

Honey Ahi Tuna

  • 2 ahi tuna steaks, thawed if frozen, about 5-6 ounces each
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic
  • 1 teaspoon sesame seed
  • pepper to taste

Combine everything but tuna, then pour over the fish and marinate for 30-60 minutes. Sear in a grill pan for about 2 minutes on each side. Serve immediately.
